Binance has entered into a memorandum of agreement with the Georgia Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) to promote its blockchain-based initiatives. This agreement assumes that the company will actively participate in blockchain and other cryptocurrency activities in the country.
The agreement between the two organisations will include various educational and charity events from Binance Academy and Binance Charity, as well as regional events and hackathons on BNB Chain. According to GITA chairman Avtandil Kasradze, "Binance will encourage new start-ups and ventures that aim to commercialise products".
Last month, Binance joined forces with the University of Business and Technology in Georgia and will provide educational materials on Blockchain technology, Web3, NFT and cryptocurrencies through the Binance Academy.
The company also announced a partnership with Kazakhstan's largest airline, Air Astana, earlier this year.
