Crypto.com's press service officially announced that the digital asset exchange has received ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 certifications in addition to the previous ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 22301 standards.
Jason Lau, director of Information Security at Crypto.com, stressed that security and privacy are top priorities for them as they expand their services around the world using cloud technology. These certifications reinforce their position as an industry leader and demonstrate their unwavering commitment to safety and security.
ISO 27017 certification helps secure cloud environments by offering information security practices for the provision and use of services, as well as making sure that the organization provides a secure cloud environment for risk management and criteria compliance (ISMS).
Moreover, ISO 27018 is the first global cloud privacy standard that provides an organization with a data processor/controller role and helps strengthen information security by assessing risks, setting goals and taking security measures to protect private data stored in public clouds.
Chris Marsalek, CEO of Crypto.com, assured that his company will continue to invest heavily in achieving the highest standards of privacy, security and protection.
