OKX has announced the addition of direct spot trading to its TradingView charting and analytics system.

This will allow OKX customers to exchange digital currencies using the TradingView app. To do so, an exchange account must be connected.

The press release says that both spot trading and derivatives trading are available through apps on Android and iOS devices. Piers Crosby, chief executive of the charts and analytics platform, said:

"OKX and TradingView share a common mission: to empower traders worldwide. This partnership will make it easier for OKX users to trade with more confidence."

Back in May, cryptocurrency exchange Binance enabled direct spot trading via TradingView.

During the same period, OKX announced its intention to open an office in Turkey "in the near future" and applied to become an accredited provider of digital asset services in France.

In March, due to certain regulatory requirements, OKX stopped providing services to Canadian users and stopped accepting new accounts from that country.
