The Hashgraph Association and the international telecommunications provider Orange have teamed up for a new programme in Morocco. The partnership aims to provide educational resources and financial support to young entrepreneurs, organisations, government programmes, enterprises and universities.
Orange recently launched its startup accelerator Orange Fab in the country. The Hashgraph Association is also introducing its fast-growing accelerator AGV to promote digital assets and decentralised finance (DeFi).
Kamal Youssefi, president of the board of directors of The Hashgraph Association, commented on the partnership, saying that it is in an educational and collaborative environment that invention flourishes. Consequently, the alliance with Orange aims to bring the benefits of distributed computing technology to society. To achieve this goal, the Hashgraph Association has allocated 100 million euros to promote fintech and blockchain projects.
In addition, participants in the accelerator programme will have access to development and administration assistance, as well as a worldwide exchange programme to further expand partnerships between entrepreneurs and corporations.
