Orca, a decentralised cryptocurrency exchange based on Solana, has announced that it will ban cryptocurrency trading for US users from 31 March.
In a statement posted on the DEX website, there were no details about the reasons for this decision, only mentioning that the USA had been added to the list of regions and countries where trading through orca.so is banned.
Fortunately, this restriction will not apply to traders using Orca smart contracts. This is great news for Jupiter's clients, as it is one of the main trading aggregators, accounting for a significant volume of trading on the DEX.
The Orca team has been working with payments company Stripe since December 2022 as part of its mission to make cryptocurrency transactions more convenient and expand the scope of application.
