Black & White Burger, the French fast food restaurant chain, has announced that all their shops in Belgium will now accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment. Moreover, they have developed an exclusive 'mystery burger' that customers can only buy with digital currency.
The chain has entered into an agreement with a French crypto-application developer named Lyzi. All twelve Belgian shops will be able to make crypto payments. Consumers will be able to use seventy different tokens to buy food and drinks. This appears to be the first time that a restaurant chain in Belgium has made this option available to customers. Furthermore, this partnership symbolises Lyzi's first entry into international markets.
Mansoor NASR, head of the fast food company, said that Black & White Burger is a modern brand that keeps up with current trends. He noted that the cryptocurrency market is expanding and they want to meet the ever-increasing demand from customers who would like to pay in cryptocurrency.
