US investors can now take advantage of Fidelity Investments' Crypto platform, which was previously only available to a select few.
To use the Fidelity Crypto platform, traders must create a brokerage account and complete the necessary verification process. At the moment, only Bitcoin and Ethereum are available for trading without commission, but buyers and sellers should be aware that there is a spread between prices, which should not exceed 1%. The platform does not currently offer a withdrawal option, but that option will be available soon.
Fidelity Investments currently has 3.71 million users, but millions more Americans will soon have access to cryptocurrency trading thanks to Fidelity's pioneering efforts to become a leader among major investment firms in the United States.
The Fidelity Crypto platform became publicly available back in November 2022, but only those who had previously joined a waiting list had access to the platform.
