Daimler South East Asia company, part of the Mercedes Benz Group, has announced the launch of a pilot project of its own decentralized data exchange service Acentrik on the Polygon blockchain. The network was specially designed for corporate users.

The decentralized Acentrik service stores and transmits data such as customer bases, scientific research and insurance information in the NFT format. Transactions are carried out on the Polygon blockchain or in the Ethereum Rinkeby testnet, users will be able to pay for purchases with MATIC tokens or stablecoins. The commission for transactions on the Polygon network will need to be paid in the MATIC cryptocurrency.

"This collaboration demonstrates the widespread adoption of the Polygon network by leading brands," Watts wrote. According to him, Polygon continues to demonstrate its potential as one of the leading blockchain platforms.

In February of this year, the venture capital company Sequoia Capital India led a round of financing for the Polygon project in the amount of $ 450 million. Tiger Global, SoftBank, Galaxy Digital and other companies have also invested in the project.
