At the time of January 1, 2017, there were about 969 cryptocurrency ATMs in the world, and since then their number has grown by 3,925%. Geographic distribution statistics show that North America dominates with 95.1% of all crypto ATMs in the world (37,081 ATMs).
The US accounts for 87.9% of the total number of crypto ATMs installed worldwide, which is 34,299 units. In the rest of the world, the share of cryptocurrency ATMs operating today is about 4.9%, with Europe accounting for 3.8% of this number.
Canada accounts for 6.3% of the total number of ATMs, which is 2,461 units. Out of 39,011 crypto ATMs, 38,998 support BTC.

The leading crypto ATM operator in the world in terms of the number of operating devices is Bitcoin Depot with 17.7% of the total number of installed crypto ATMs (6,896 devices). Coincloud had 5,643 installs, Coinflip had 4,124, Bitcoin of America had 2,339, Bitstop had 1969, and Rockitcoin had 1,781.
Genesis Coin is the leading crypto ATM manufacturer in the world as it accounts for 40.6% of all ATMs produced, while General Bytes comes in second with 22.8% of crypto ATMs produced.

Coinatmradar.com also calculated the installation speed of cryptocurrency ATMs. According to the measuring scale, 14.7 crypto ATMs are installed per day. This means that in about 67.27 days, the number of crypto ATMs installed worldwide should reach 40,000 at this rate.
