The mining company BIT Mining Limited, registered on the New York Stock Exchange, has introduced its new LD4 miner for Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC).
The LD4 boasts a hash rate of 5000 MH/s with a power consumption of 0.71 W/MH. This is almost half as much as the Bitmain L7, which delivers 9,500 MH/s with a power consumption of 0.34 W/MH.
The LD4 uses advanced heat dissipation technology to enable its processing chip to operate at lower temperatures for longer periods of time.
The LD4 miner is significantly superior to the LD3 miner in terms of strength, convenience, cost-effectiveness and resilience. The new miner also offers hardware and software protection against known vulnerabilities. It features an aluminium housing and has only one airflow channel. Unfortunately, the company is still silent on when it will be released and how much it will cost.
In the first quarter of 2023, prices of cryptocurrency mining equipment soared by 15-20% and in some cases up to 30% due to the sharp rise in the value of bitcoin.
