This plugin has enabled a wide range of e-commerce sites, both small and large shops, to include cryptocurrencies in their payment systems. Experts in the cryptocurrency world have said that this should encourage wider use of digital currencies. They predict that 80% of all online shops will start accepting cryptocurrencies as payment in the next 5-7 years, which will stimulate an increase in their value.
Woocommerce is a commonly used platform that supports 25% of the most significant online shops.
Binance pay and cryptocurrency payments are now available at more than 400 online shops in seven countries, it has been recently revealed. This is made possible through a partnership with ivendPay, an international payment provider.
The Ingenico platform has also announced a strategic alliance with Binance Pay. This way, shop owners can receive cryptocurrency payments from their customers. The pilot project was launched in France and is expected to cover all of Europe by 2024.
