The German industrial company specialising in sports shoes, clothing, inventory and perfumes under the Puma brand will launch a digital representation of shoes in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in collaboration with digital designer Wagmi-san.
These special trainers incorporate an NFC chip that combines the physical and virtual spheres. The NFT will thus be able to identify the authenticity of the trainer. The Puma collection will feature limited edition models designed specifically for collection owners such as CryptoPunks, CrypToadz, Bored Ape Yacht Club and others. The deadline to register for the sale is April 27, 2023.
Last year, US multinational sportswear and footwear company Nike became the most profitable company in terms of revenue from sales of its own collectible tokens - a world record of $185 million was set. In April, Nike launched its first NFT on the .SWOOSH platform, dedicated to Nike Air Force 1 trainers.
