A new game based on blockchain technology, Battle Bears Heroes, has been launched on the Ronin network as part of a collaboration with computer games company Sky Mavis, becoming the first third-party project.
The game is based on the well-known Battle Bears GO mobile game from 2010 and has been released in soft-latch format for users in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Those interested can purchase the game on Google Play and the App Store.
Players can join forces with their mates to climb the rankings by collecting heroes and customising their appearance with cosmetic items. New characters and modes will also be added over time. The developers have stated that the game will introduce Web3 features from Ronin, but did not specify what those features might be.
The game is scheduled to launch worldwide in the near future, and those who play it first will be rewarded with exclusive in-game skins.
