The head of the committee Anatoly Aksakov said that the parliament will be invited to adopt the document in the first reading before the end of the autumn session.
On December 14, at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on the financial market, a bill on mining will be considered, the head of the committee Anatoly Aksakov said in the Sputnik Radio program.
According to the deputy, the committee will propose to the parliament to adopt the document in the first reading before the end of the autumn session. The last plenary week of this session is scheduled for the period from December 19 to 23. Aksakov expects that the law will be adopted in January, after which miners will be able to work in the legal field.
"We will consider (the bill) at the committee tomorrow (December 14) and, most likely, we will propose to the State Duma to adopt it in the first reading. I hope that in January the law will be finally adopted, and miners will be able to work in the legal space," Aksakov said.
The mining bill was submitted to the State Duma on November 17. At the end of November, it was reviewed by the Legal Department of the Parliament, which did not approve it. The lawyers compiled a list of comments and indicated that the bill should be sent to the Bank of Russia to receive its conclusion.
